HOW TO FRY YAM / FRIED YAM / DUNDUN / NIGERIAN STREET FOOD

Dundun is a very popular street food in Nigeria. Usually paired with home chilli sauce ( ata dindin) and plantain or grilled Fish.

The trick is to cut your yam into thin slices, this will make your fried yam crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Dont overcrowd your oil giving the slices enough room to cook evenly and you need to deep fry so be generous with the oil.
